A romantic quote to elevate your mood or to help you find the right sentiment for your vows or ceremony.

"I love you not only for what you are,
but for what I am when I am with you."

       Elizabeth Barrett Browning

4) Kim's Wedding Tips!

We recently tied those knots and have tips, tricks and to be avoided stories to share:

Picking out a Wedding Coordinator...

1) Ask how many weddings your potential coordinator has done. Experience is must. You don't want to be the wedding your coordinator learns on.
2) Ask for references. Did the bride feel as though everything was a breeze? A good coordinator can make sure that everything is just right. Did she feel like the coordinator listened to what she wanted? Call the references!
3) If your budget is limited, consider trying a day of coordination. My mother, aunt and I made sure that my wedding went off without a hitch but I feel that we lost precious time with friends and family. A day of coordinator will mean that you and your family will be able to be like guests at your own wedding rather than taking on the mantle of hosts.

4A)Wedding Dance Tip
SURVIVING THE "MONEY DANCE":
If your family views this as a fun way to raise money for the new couple, go for it! I would advise you to get a money bag that matches your gown as this will be MUCH easier, less awkward and less dangerous than having the men pin anything to your dress or your veil! It also allows people to give the bride cash or envelopes without having anyone else be privy to their generosity. Whether you pick a slow song or a fast one is up to you, but go for something upbeat. I like "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong.

5) A Wedding Tradition Explained!

"WHAT IS THE MONEY DANCE?"
The "money dance" is a custom which began in Poland, and is a popular tradition found celebrated in some weddings of today. It takes place sometime after the first dance and is usually announced by the DJ. normally the best man to begins dancing with the bride, pinning money onto her gown or putting it into a satin bag carried by the bride, especially for the money dance. A more modern twist of the money dance tradition includes bridesmaids and other ladies dancing with the groom, pinning money on his lapel..
